About this anime database

AnimeDB is a fast front end for MyAnimeList, the largest community anime catalogue. Every listing is pulled live from the free Jikan API (an unofficial MyAnimeList REST API) and cached for about an hour, so scores, rankings and airing lists stay close to what MyAnimeList shows.

Scores are MyAnimeList user ratings on a 1–10 scale. Each anime page lists the format (TV, movie, OVA), episode count, airing status, studio, source material, age rating and a synopsis, plus a link to the MyAnimeList entry and trailer when one exists.

Top Rated shows the 25 highest-scored anime on MyAnimeList. This Season lists shows airing now, and Upcoming lists announced titles for next season.
